Flagler County Blanketeers

Who We Are

This program allows local residents who have knitting or crocheting abilities to have a positive impact on people who are facing crisis.  The volunteers create thousands of handmade items each year for distribution to those in need.   Items include:  blankets, shawls, shrugs, hats, baby sweaters and caps, booties, etc. Locations that items are distributed to include:  Alpha Pregnancy Center,  St. Gerards, St. Vincent De Paul, local nursing homes, hospices, oncology and dialysis care centers, and many more.

What We Do

We meet monthly to turn in knitted and crocheted items, network with other Blanketeer Members, learn new patterns, pick up supplies and continue working on our current projects in the company of other members.
