Flagler County Emergency Management and Flagler Volunteer Services invite residents who are interested in learning how to support our community during emergencies or disasters, to participate in our Disaster Volunteer Training Series at the Flagler County Emergency Operations Center.
This program is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to use radio systems effectively during emergencies and disasters. This training will focus on GMRS Radios, to include getting a license and how to communicate with the Emergency Operations Center and/or command post. The goal is to ensure reliable communication when other systems fail, easing coordination among first responders and affected communities.
