Patient/Caregiver Volunteers

Patient/Caregiver Volunteers. Volunteers visit once per week in Flagler County homes/facilities. You will be required to have the following: background check, fingerprints, TB test, and a driver's license. You must attend a Haven Hospice Orientation. There is a high level of confidentiality required. Visits last no more than 2 hours. You must be 18 years of age and able to drive yourself to the visits. You must be compassionate and reliable. Volunteers provide respite so caregivers can get a break and know that their loved ones are not alone. Socialization and companionship provided to Hospice patients who often have not family.
