God's Family Bible Church at 256 Old Brick Road, Bunnell, FL 32110 is having a Women's Spring Tea on Saturday, May 30th, 2026.  We are looking for volunteers to help setup, serve food, and breakdown the event. 10:00am to 4:00pm.  Volunteer support would help us not to have to pay additional funds for servers, logistics or hosts. Espanola Lodge #161 is reaching out to the community for volunteers to assist with the cleanup of the Masonic Cemetery. This vital project involves picking up trash and debris to help restore the beauty and dignity of this historic site. The Purpose Center needs Children's Church Teachers. The American Red Cross Hands-Only CPR class is a short, non-certification session teaching bystanders to save lives during cardiac emergencies.

Target Audience: Ideal for anyone wanting to know how to respond to a sudden cardiac arrest, without the time commitment of full certification..
Skills Learned: How to correctly position the body, place hands, and maintain the proper rhythm for compressions to keep blood flowing until professional help arrives.
This training is not a full CPR certification course, but rather a "skill-building session" to prepare you to act in an emergency.

Book Table Volunteer (1 volunteer)

Assist with the book exchange by helping manage the flow of books, encouraging sharing, and maintaining a calm, welcoming environment. Volunteers should encourage participants to take a book even if they did not bring one to exchange.

Snowflake Decorating Station (2 volunteers)

Guide and assist participants in creating their own snowflakes by cutting and decorating. Volunteers will provide instructions and hands-on support as needed to ensure participants feel comfortable and successful.

Quiet Area Support (1 volunteer)
Provide periodic check-ins (approximately every 20-25 minutes) to ensure the Quiet Area Lead is supported and able to take breaks as needed. The Quiet Area is a designated calming space for attendees who may need a sensory break or time to decompress.

1. Volunteers are needed to help with the organizing womens and baby clothing and put them on the shelves and hangers. This would be a regular shift, 2 or 3 times a week. The location is at 301 Justice Lane in Bunnell at the donation closet. Volunteers must be over 18 years of age. Only skills needed are to be able to fold clothes neatly and by size and service their clients needs by helping them pick out clothes. The donation closet gets donations throughout the year and your help to keep it neat and organized would be greatly appreciated!

Volunteers are needed by Rise Above Violence to assist virtually with administrative services. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations are carried out for the organization. This role will work alongside Sr. Leadership and serve as a point of contact for many daily external patrons and teammates. The right candidate should have some knowledge of social media best practices and trends, enjoy being creative and creating content, and gets excited by the
idea of building and converting a digital audience.

Volunteers must be able to drive their personal vehicle and lift boxes up to 40 pounds.

Patient/Caregiver Volunteers. Volunteers visit once per week in Flagler County homes/facilities. You will be required to have the following: background check, fingerprints, TB test, and a driver's license. You must attend a Haven Hospice Orientation. There is a high level of confidentiality required. Visits last no more than 2 hours. You must be 18 years of age and able to drive yourself to the visits. You must be compassionate and reliable. Volunteers provide respite so caregivers can get a break and know that their loved ones are not alone. Socialization and companionship provided to Hospice patients who often have not family.

Volunteers are needed by Haven Hospice for the following positions:
Staff information tables at various community events throughout the year. Daytime hours only. This will allow us to get the word out about volunteer opportunities with hospice patents. As needed for health fairs, etc. Manning the Haven table at community events.

Our funds assist individuals with Down Syndrome with activities (arts/crafts, sports/physical activities, dance classes to increase their self-esteem & involvement in community events, as well as our annual local prom). It also provides parents with a safe place for their sons/daughters to nurture & grow their community presence & civil duty. Many of our parents are elderly, as their children are adults, still in need of direction. Teenagers & young adults volunteering are an essential need. We hope a good experience volunteering w/ developmentally disabled individuals will encourage volunteers to consider professions as teachers, therapists, or caregivers.

We need parking assistants. In the early morning, we need a team of volunteers to help direct our parents and players to the correct field and parking location for the Sporting Jax Invitational Tournaments. Specific skills required include a good attitude.

The Sporting Palm Coast Soccer Academy Recreational Program is a fun-filled soccer program for ALL players. Sporting Palm Coast Soccer Academy Recreational Program is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of youth soccer players. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport, develop life skills and discover a love for the game.

The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County needs volunteers to assist with Special Need Shelter Activations that occur during Hurricanes or other emergency operations.

Whenever there is a need for emergency sheltering the Department of Health needs support from volunteers with emergency response training, medical training, or past experience at the Special Needs Shelter or Red Cross Shelters.

COMPANIONSHIP VOLUNTEERS - Ongoing need for Companionship Volunteers to provide companionship, caregiver relief and socialization to hospice patients in their home and/or facility. We will work around the volunteers schedule. Must go through on boarding process and adhere to Gentiva Hospice policies and procedures.

We are looking for persons that can help us secure funding by researching and writing grant proposals. Ideally, the person would understand the specific requirements of each grant opportunity, identify the needs of our organization, and create a detailed and persuasive proposal that meets the funders criteria collaborating with program managers, financial staff, and other committee chairs to ensure that the proposal accurately reflects the organization's goals and objectives.

Volunteers are needed by the Florida Ag Museum to assist weekly on Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays any time between 9-11 a.m. Volunteers will feed their farm animals: cows, goats, pigs and possibly chicken. Light duty work. Community Service hours for school and/or college are available. Must be 15 years of age or older and like animals and working outside. Your assistance would immensely free up time for their property care taker, who has other responsibilities at the farm/Ag center.

Family Life Center is in need of volunteers to be an administrative assistant - answering phones, making copies, printing letters, putting stamps on letters, overall general office support. Shifts are available Monday - Fridays between 9 a.m. 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers must wear professional attire, an affable personality, and clear verbal communicator. Community Service Hours for school or college are accepted.

Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles. Minimum of 2 hours, example: Surgical area, Prepwork, Office Work, Cleaning. Must be able to complete task without direct supervision. Many different types of volunteer positions are available and training provided.

Team Build or Individual Build Volunteers - Varied construction work - hammering, painting, building walls, framing, laying tile, landscaping. Work depends on what stage they are in while building the house. They typically build on Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays.

Volunteers provide meal delivery to home-bound seniors in Flagler County. Many older adults in Flagler County live alone and struggle to access healthy food. "Volunteers time and effort can make sure they have the nutrition—and the human connection—they need to thrive".

Volunteer Needs: Regular Weekly Shifts are needed. Meal delivery begins at Flagler County Social Services office. Tuesday is delivery day, with pickups beginning at 8 a.m. The average route takes approximately 1.5 hours. Substitute and on-call commitments are welcome. Volunteers use their own vehicles, and there is no mileage reimbursement.

Volunteers are needed to open or volunteer in a Flagler County 4-H Clubs and Programs to work with local youth. The 4-H clubs/programs could use additional volunteers with expertise in areas of sewing, cooking, gardening, fishing, beekeeping, forestry/wildlife and more.

Volunteers are preferred to have experience working with kids. All volunteers must over the age of 18, be able to complete a background screening through the University of Florida and attend basic 4-H volunteer training before beginning to work with the youth.

Babies Rock goes far beyond hugs and playtime-it lays the foundation for a lifelong love of language and learning. Volunteers are needed to help get the word out about Community Cats and their mission.

Volunteers commit to a weekly schedule for as little or as many hours possible for housekeeping at the adoption center where our adult/older kittens and adoptable cats are housed. The minimum requirement for each visit is 1-3 hours. We have morning and late afternoon shifts to fill seven (7) days a week. This position is for the basic housekeeping, scooping of litter boxes, filling food/water bowls, cleaning/sanitizing free roam area including sweeping/mopping, wiping down surfaces, changing any soiled blankets/beds/linens. Also responsible for any isolation enclosures/crates/condos in use up to 10. Any additional time available can be spent socializing with the animals. Must be able to complete the tasks listed without direct supervision based on written posted instructions. Housekeeping volunteers are essential in maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary environment for the cats in their care. Their health is directly related to their environment. This also provides an environment conducive to facilitating quality adoptions as it gives applicants a space to spend time with their potential new family member.

Times needed are Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. This position helps formerly stray/homeless cats/kittens find quality homes. These adoptions reduce the number of stray cats in the community therefore reducing incidents of nuisances, spread of disease and threat to wildlife. Volunteers vs paid employees allows 100% of raised funds to be given back to the community that supports us. The presence of volunteers at our adoption center gives the Director and Asst. Director the ability to give their full attention to the daily operations of the rescue. It also allows them to respond to situations that occur offsite. This includes assisting residents with the trapping of injured animals as well as veterinary visits whether scheduled or as needed for emergencies.

- Volunteers are essential to keeping our thrift store open that directly funds our rescue efforts. 100% of our Thrift Store proceeds go to our cat rescue.

Christmas Come True is need of volunteers who are capable of helping collect and distribute furniture that is either donated or needed by their clients. Ideal volunteer would have organizational skills and be strong and able to stand and lift heavy items. Having a truck or some type of moving vehicle is a bonus! Many times local residents have gently used furniture and home goods that their agency could sell in their retail store - which benefits Christmas Come True or can be given to clients to help improve their living standard. The impact of providing the families that we serve with beds, bedding and furniture truly increases their living standard.

Community Service hours can be obtained if needed for school, college and/or court ordered community service. Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older.

This program serves over 150 struggling families with over 450 children here in Flagler County.

You can help on various days and times - very flexible for when you are available to assist. Their garden area is in the church's atrium - they need assistance with pulling weeds, trimming bushes and planting plants, and spreading mulch in the spring. The garden plays an important role in creating a peaceful, welcoming space for community members attending weekly food drives, community dinners, and programs such as free tax preparation services. You must have the ability to get up and down, on your knees, also carry less than 10 lbs of materials form garden. You may need gloves and knee pads which we are unable to provide.

IT Support - The Bridges United Methodist Fellowship in Bunnell needs volunteers for IT support, knowledge in PowerPoint presentations, Facebook, You Tube, Sound Board, and media equipment. This would support those in the community who cannot come to church for various reasons and support those who attend church on a weekly basis. Previous experience with sound equipment and IT materials is required. This will include a regular weekly shift for adults over the age of 18.

Volunteers are needed to be part of our ROAD TO RECOVERY program. Volunteers will assist in transporting cancer patients to and from cancer treatment appointments. Volunteers donate their time and the use of their vehicle to transport patients. All patients are ambulatory, and drivers perform curb to curb service.

Volunteers must be able to utilize a computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone for online training and volunteer certification. Volunteer opportunity is flexible for drivers. The American Cancer Society encourages 1-2 rides per month. Volunteers can view rides needed via the online patient platform and can choose rides that fit their schedule. Volunteers can choose how far they want to travel. Rides are needed within Flagler County. You can truly be helping your neighbor and seeing the impact your volunteering is making to patients in your community.

Community service hours are available for school or college only. Volunteers must be 18 years of age. Appointments are between 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Basic computer skills, good driving record and background check are required.

Volunteer drivers with the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery help to save lives of cancer patients. Patients report transportation as the top reason next to monetary as whey they don't get treatment. Each ride helps patients get to lifesaving treatment they need to battle cancer. On an average each ride helps patients save $25-$50 in travel costs should they have to pay for a service if there is a service available in their area. Travel costs for patients who don't have a way to treatment can take a toll if they can no longer work due to their diagnosis or have limited income.

Volunteer will research, prepare, submit and manage grant proposals to secure funding that supports the mission and pograms of Favored.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during CERT exercises, members can assist their community or workplace following an emergency event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.

Attendance is necessary at ALL Sessions to receive certification. (If you are unable to attend all sessions you can make up miss sessions at future CERT Basic Courses.)

Digital participant manuals, CERT Backpacks and all course materials are provided. Paper Manuals are available for $5 each. A free T-shirt and CERT ID will be handed out to all graduates.

The list of duties below details some of the responsibilities that a volunteer may complete but is not limited to. Volunteers are asked to commit eight hours per month of their time to Flagler Cares.
